data mining technology and methodology is mentioned as one major approach
to better understand and to optimise various phases of the drug
development process. But how can data mining contribute to achieving operational

This three-day training course will provide you with an overview of
the potentials and limitations of data mining in drug development and with
a thorough methodological, practical and, most importantly,
software-vendor independent coverage of state-of-art data mining
techniques. It highlights its
applicability to accumulated data throughout the drug development process,
and it will enable you to apply the presented methodology and its
underlying philosophy to your own or benchmark data.
